Lace weight yarn is the finest of yarns, and can be used in every-way imaginable. You’ll often see laceweight yarns used in classic hap-shawls, or delicate heirloom lace patterns that have intricate patterns with yarn overs and other fanciful stitches. Lace yarn goes by many names including fingering and 10 count crochet thread. Lace weight yarn is so fine that you’ll usually find skeins of 100g yielding a minimum of 800 yards and sometimes up to 1,000, allowing you to maximize your fiber crafting time per skein!
We love carrying a lace weight yarn with another lace weight, or other weight yarn, to add a bit more color or depth to a project.
